This porcelain portrait is entirely shaped and decorated by hand in my Gasoline Création studio in Villecroze.
The clean lines, lowered gaze and contrasts between cobalt blue, carmine red and the whiteness of the porcelain create a silent, almost contemplative presence. Balancing strength and delicacy, this artwork invites you to slow down and let the imagination unfold.
Hand-painted with cobalt oxide and enhanced with touches of red, this portrait reveals the richness of these pigments after firing. The subtle irregularities of the material, the variations in colour and the traces of the artist’s hand make each creation truly unique.
Hung on the wall, this portrait becomes a fragment of a story, a discreet presence that interacts with its surroundings and leaves each viewer free to project their own emotions onto it.
